The island has two airports, the International Princess Juliana Airport on the Dutch side and, the Grand-Case on the French side. The former is a one-of-a-kind airport since the runway end is next to the beach where people can see large airplanes flying over and landing just a few meters away. The latter, Grand-Case Airport, is used to fly to nearby islands, while international flights arrive at Princess Juliana Airport.
